oh yeah, 23

bitch, please

I was under the impression that a sentence reduction for good behaviour is something you are eligible for only after you’ve actually started that sentence. I might be able to understand the ‘private’ holding block as a way to protect the Heiress from being bitch-slapped; but 23? Half before she’s even in. This of course is only the justice system doing it’s thing.

Bernie S and KDM weren’t that lucky. Wonder why…

the thinnest thread

May 13th, 2007

Now, it’s very easy for me to comment on how stupid some people are. How easily they get offended about things that shouldn’t even be an issue in the first place - because they misunderstand the message, because they think it’s addressed to them, because they see it as such a huge deal when it’s not.

all animals are created equal

but some are more equal than others. Please explain to me for what reason would anyone consider Paris Hilton’s fuck-ups as a reason to rally, protest or petition. This isn’t even about using those resources for something more constructive. It’s simply about guilt.

reality on tv

April 9th, 2007

More and more reality TV shows appear, some dealing with subjects so ridiculous that one must be surprised as to how they are receiving any airtime at all. We had the hotel heiress, we had Survivor and Blind Date and now, reportedly, MTV is giving us a peep into what birthday parties and marriages are like for 16 year olds. Rich and poor, smart and sexy, everybody has a place on TV.

The issue I’m taking with this? «Continue Reading»

happy toes

March 29th, 2007

Long live some people’s complete lack of appropriateness. No, of course I don’t mind if we’re on public transit and you shove your dirty feet in my face so that I may fully enjoy the aesthetic excellence that your protruding nails and dirty toes represent. The smell is not a problem either because I am the quintessential masochist when it comes to lack of hygiene, especially in females.

Really, please, don’t take your feet down for anybody else that may need to sit down in this crowded train. We’d all love to stare at these columns of beauty that your feet represent, we’d all be so sad were you to get a fucking clue that what you’re doing is embarrassing for those around you far more than you’d care to acknowledge. And far more than it is to you.

Mmm how I love it when you’re flailing those toes! Fresh breeze, smells like mornings. I need a bullet to the brain so that I may die happy.

I was browsing today through reviews and this was simply too ’shocking’ to pass up:

crankiness

October 12th, 2006

John C. Dvorak doesn’t know what the heck he’s talking about. Like the last TwiT and his assertions regarding the possibility of a YouTube buy-out by Google [which has happened] but he’s the only one on the show to be so certain about what he thinks. I admit I enjoy listening to TwiT but Dvorak is hard to swallow sometimes, being so sure he’s right in an industry where things change overnight and companies buy or sell depending on what they are offered. For someone that’s been in the ‘industry’ for so long, mister Dvorak should have long learned how these things work.

No wonder he gets dissed as much as he does on Slashdot. It is still entertaining to listen to him though.
