In the wake and more and more unpleasant things being hosted by WikiLeaks, more and more censorship is attempted and judicial action has ruled that wikileaks.org be removed from DNS. But, thanks to the forethought of the admin, the site already has an extensive list of alternative names. To that list I now add the following redirects:
http://wl.hackd.net
http://wikileaks.hackd.net
The direct address is http://88.80.13.160/
There also exists a comprehensive list of alternate names.
The most recent WikiLeaks content archive is available at The Pirate Bay.
On another note, is there a possibility that the recent fire at PRQ (the hosting company of WikiLeaks and under ownership of Pirate Bay administrators) wasn’t all that accidental?
Information wants to be free, bitches =)

Hey Mate,
Good on ya for stepping up and setting up mirrors for this…. although it seems your hosting panel didn’t set your subdomains up correctly…… oops!
Although I don’t know all the details of wikileaks is all about and there court case, it does on the surface seem like a very important service to have available. It is important to have a central, consistent, anonymous and community mediated means by which to do things like ‘whistleblowing’ and uncovering information that should be made public but is being kept secret (usually for the benefit of the few).
You stuck your neck out by mirroring wikileaks, mate….even though it seams the court case has been thrown out now, kudos!
Thanks… it just seemed like the natural thing to do. I get quite mad when money buys out people’s rights to information. I also believe in the ‘hydra theory’ when it comes to information on the Internet - one site goes down, others come around to take its place. Never surrender!
I think I fixed the cloaking, weird that it changed on its own. DNS should propagate in a few hours and I’ll check back then to see what’s up.
