More and more reality TV shows appear, some dealing with subjects so ridiculous that one must be surprised as to how they are receiving any airtime at all. We had the hotel heiress, we had Survivor and Blind Date and now, reportedly, MTV is giving us a peep into what birthday parties and marriages are like for 16 year olds. Rich and poor, smart and sexy, everybody has a place on TV.

Josh Wolf has become somewhat of an Internet personality after having resisted turning over material that would normally be protected for ‘conventional’ journalists. He aims at setting a precedent that would establish certain bloggers as - I would call them - new-age journalists.

If the TSA admits [via Schneier] they’re not effective at protecting anything, why may I be subjected to biometric scans at any US Port of Entry?
I wonder where we should draw a line and say “heck, there’s too much user-generated content out there; web 2.0 is too much to handle because we hadn’t even really gotten it nailed down right the first time around so we should stop.” Why am I wondering about this? Well, where are our reference points/people?
I promise to try and stop messing around with the blog theme. Feel free to let me know what your thoughts are on this latest one… I know I wanted something dark and ended up on the opposite spectrum but this one’s clean and polished.
